We at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church welcome you into our fellowship. We date our beginnings as a denomination to 1517, when Martin Luther questioned abuses in the Church and started the Protestant Reformation.
There are still all kinds of opportunities for healing and helping -- for giving and growing. Our congregation has been able to help a number of immigrants and refugees make a home in Fredericton. We provided early childhood education for children for over twenty years. We have supported work in Ethiopia to allow mothers with AIDS to live to raise their children to maturity. We have embarked on an ambitious building project to develop our property into an affordable-housing complex including a new worship space. And there are lots of other opportunities to benefit people in our community and around the world. You could be part of that!
